the picture kind of reminds me of the old getty museum

The Getty is kind of cool.. i liked the courtyard in it best.. i visited it just last month... the building in the pic is the San Fernando Mission Del Rey.. it was the mission that founded Los Angeles if your an Angelino you probably found yourself there once or twice.

i've actually never seen that mission. i will have to make a point of it. and i was talking about the old getty museum in pacific palisades, i remember going there for an elementary school field trip, before the new getty center was built, it had a similar fountain. actually, i haven't been to the new getty center for a while, though it's only 10 minutes from school. two places to visit next year.

Oh there was/is a Getty in the pacific palicades? Is that the city you pass on the way to hollywood where you can see The Getty from the freeway or is that the new getty... for some reason i mixed it up with Gene Autry museum.. what a thing to mix up!
