Troubleshooting Step 1

I'll preface this, for those that may not know already, by stating that I work at a local ISP in a department that provides tech support for our business VoIP customers. My group provides support for folks spending up to $4k a month on internet connectivity and voice services. I often walk people who have no clue about the tech they're using ( Read more... )

And the $4k thing is only if they just have connectivity. For whatever reason (and it's probably that VoIP racks up RMR more slowly per user than connectivity), the EAS cutoff for VoIP is $2k. Woot. We keep hoping that Mr. VK will add enough seats that he'll become EAS's problem.

Hahah, have you seen the British show, the IT Crowd? You'd die laughing. Especially for the pre-taped reel-to-reel-with-a-phone-cradle recording of his Irish voice asking (first and foremost): "have ye troyed turning et off and on again?"
