What's a "Match Three"- oh wait. Bejeweled, right?

I remember playing one of those "find the object" games - Mystery PI - I was deceived! It was labelled as a Detective game, and just coming out of Phoenix Wright I was hoping that there would've been a game where you solved a case a la Eagle Eye Mysteries or Encyclopedia Brown. *shrug*

yeah, Bejeweled and things like that. You could also call Hexic a match-three. And omg, lo and behold, the game mechanics are different between them! That almost makes it worth playing both...... ;)

It can be pretty jarring for a hardcore player to go to a casual game, but the thing to keep in mind is that the kind of people Mystery PI and its ilk are geared towards didn't grow up playing Space Invaders, Super Mario Bros. and Myst. They grew up playing... well, Bejeweled. And Solitaire, and stuff like that. So it's a question of baby steps :)
