Any Suggestions?

My computer and I always pick the worst times to not get along. Recently, after getting back from Spring Break, plugging in my computer, and turning it on, I realized that its battery would no longer hold a charge, or register on the computer. It's not likely to instantly fry your computer, but It may cause some components to run hotter, which could ultimately damage the system. Maybe it's time to ditch that Gateway piece of crap that's been giving you trouble for as long as I've known you. Get yourself a nice MacBook and breathe the free air.

at the end of last year they sent me a new, fresh off the press, laptop. So this one has been pretty good until the damn battery. i just don't have any options...and I'm not sure i've got the money to drop on a new computer atm...this one is only a year old. The battery (which they don't sell) is only 14 days over a year old...it is fantastic.
