Has anybody already read the books of Charlaine Harris, Sookie Stackhouse novels?
And if it's the case, how are they? I really like the serie True blood but I want to be sure before buying the books...
Anybody help?   :)
Thanks !!!

They're really good books. I liked them, but they're totally different from the show.

I started reading the books when I was... I think thirteen, and I love them. (Original fan right here.) Personally, their ten times better then the show, but like I said I read them before the show came about. They are all from Sookie's point of view, so you only see things the way sookie sees them. Which is both a plus and a minus, and that is why the two (the show and the books) differ, because the show had to do something with all the characters while Sookie does her thing.

Overall, I love them, and I also love the show. I hope you'll like them just as much. :)

Thank you for your advise!! I'm going to buy those books!!!
I was afraid they were just teenager's books and I was going to have a lot of this kind of answer: " Hey you, too late, you pass your time, deal with it! " ;)

Oh yea, don't think that your too old or that these books are too young. They most certainly are not. :) Charlaine writes for a older more mature audience, when I started reading them I was little and naive about half the stuff the books contained. But I grew up into them.

Enjoy them. *Hugs back* :D

I have read all the books to date and enjoyed them quite a bit. I watched the first season of True Blood, but I have to say that I think the books are WAY better. Although Alex Skars as Eric is perfect eye candy. ;D
