Bluewater Spring 1

Since it would take forever and a day to go through each household, I think I'll just merge all of them together by season. Especially since none of these households did anything hugely worthy of its own post, and I want to hurry things along so I'm in a position to do something a bit plotty for Maxis Taste's Dare 33.

Nice makeovers all around! I really, really like Malcolm's gym, with the glass doors and the outdoor area with the hot tub. I think it's sweet that he has a garden to remind him of his mother, too. :) Melody and Dominic look like they'd make a good couple, too!

I never quite know what to do with Gilbert, he kind of bores me for some reason. I like his mother, though.

Thank you! I spent the longest on the gym, so I'm very glad you like it. I like to think that Malcolm dwells on his parents quite a lot, it's rough that he lost them at such a young age. Melody and Dominic do seem to work well together at the moment, but there's still a lot of time for things to go pear-shaped! :P

Gilbert is just one of those boring sims, maybe because Maxis didn't give him any real direction. I mean, his biography is basically 'he enjoys life' and he strikes me more as a pleasure sim than a romance sim...

Heheh, pear-shaped. My SO loves that expression. :P

One of my problems with Gilbert is that he's a face 2 template, too. So in addition to being kind of boring to begin with, he looks boring, too. Like an inferior Don Lothario that lives with his mother. :P Yeah, definitely a Pleasure secondary for him, I think.

Nice! Fantastic job on the Landgraab Manor, so kudos to your mom too. I really like the dining room...I find them hard to make interesting, but yours is really nice, and the pond! So pretty. :)

Toddler!Stephen is actually kinda cute... :P

PS: I saw your Batman post, which was awesome, but where's the Batcave? :P I've always thought the Hunka3000 (or whatever it's called) has a suspicious resemblance to the Batmobile...

Thanks! The dining room was all my mum's inspiration (although pretty much the whole house was her idea :P), I struggle with dining rooms too. I did the pond myself though, so I feel like a proud 5 year old presenting their macaroni art.

Ah, I did consider giving Malcolm a hidden bookcase and an elevator to a basement with all sorts of gadgets, but after all the decorating he didn't actually have that much left. I tried to give him the car you mean with the same line of thinking, but until he gets his business empire up a bit he'll have to make do with a black Ford Edge...

Geez, Landgraab manor actually looks livable. Amazing! He definitely needs a black Hunka. And a butler renamed Alfred. My Tinkers always get LTWs with large numbers in them so I think all the extra bedrooms is a prudent choice...

I think a lot of people find Gilbert boring, which is probably why he ends up being gay so often, at least it gives him some kind of uniqueness. XD

[facepalm] Why did I not think of naming the butler Alfred? That's definitely something I'll have to do. Tinker children all have such loveable faces, I once deliberately gave them quads while they were still raising a bunch of other children. That gave me a bit of a headache...

Gilbert's okay, but for some reason he just doesn't shine out for me. I have an idea of where he's going but at the moment he's just kind of coasting along in life. Thanks for reading!

I really like the makeovers you've given the Tinkers! You've also done a great job re-decorating their house, and Malcolm's, too. I like his exercise room, in particular!

So, are we ever going to see Denise's face? She keeps turning her back to the camera! :D

Thanks! :)

It's not intentional, I know I have some pictures of her face somewhere. We'll see it soon!

We should think of the best way before doing something. That way, we can control things to be on the right track.
