A couple of days ago I thought about plonking all the bin sims in downtown and playing with them (something I've done before but never really stuck with [big surprise there]). When I was thinking about who would go where, this little scenelet sprang up in my mind. It's quite short but I haven't seen this done with the Newsons before (though someone ( Read more... )

I absolutely adored this! I love the Newsons, and it was great to a less-than-perfect take on their lives - I put them in a trailer last time!

The maxis premades can be a bunch of fun, but I understand how they're not for everyone. Thank you for being so kind! :)

Fantastic! Consider me hooked. I love stories about lesser-used premades, and Newsons have such big story potential. I really like your dialogue, and you set the atmosphere so well I was actually getting ready to be spooked before I noticed the chapter's almost over.
I can't wait for the next chapter! :D

Thank you so much! :D
I was afraid the dialogue would come out a little clunky, but I'm really glad you enjoyed it.

Ren! This is so good! So awesome!

You even dressed them so perfectly! They look like sad vagrants! You somehow made Ginger's face look so sad and hallow.... It's sad, but so unnervingly realistic! I almost didn't even recongise Gabriella!

This has to be one of my favorite interpretations of the Newsons, ever. You dressed them as runaways would be, and gave them such charming, real personalities.
The story at the end was such a nice touch... :)
