Yes, I'm an Indians fan. Have been one since I learned baseball. Yes, I am glad to see the Indians make it to the ALCS for the first time in nine years, but I would have been a little more satisfied with their win if a couple of events could have went differently ( Read more... )

As a die hard Yankee fan and supporter of Joe Torre, I can understand Steinbrenner's decision. I don't neccesarily like it, but I can understand it. No disrespect to the Indians they're a good team but on paper the Yankees roster is far better. They should have won this series. In fact they should have gone on to win the world series, but they didn't. Again. For the 7th season in a row. and with the rosters they've had they should have gone on to win all of those world series so obviously something is wrong somewhere. I'm not saying it's Torre but it could be. Maybe he doesn't keep his players motivated properly I don't know. Yes the Indians have great pitching but it's the same staff that the Yankees have owned all season long. Yet when the playoffs come they choke. I don't know why that is. Maybe it's not the right group of players, or maybe it's the managers, but something aint right and some changes definitely have to be made somewhere. I hope Torre stays but I can understand if he doesn't.
