Lovely. This is just...I love how it's written. I can't explain it, not at all. it's just, well. As an example:

Sometimes it happens, and sometimes it doesn't.
Billy looks out for Dominic, but, on occasion, roles are reversed.
Only not, because sometimes life imitates art.

I love how it feels like the real world, ever-shifting. It's not so clear and obvious (what you are saying) and it involves thought. Amazing.
