What to say that hasn't already been said?
I haven't been able to find the words until now, and this is still incoherent I know.
She was larger than life, her presence was extraodrinary. She epitomised the phrase Courage of her Convictions. She was blunt and upfront and had no time for bullshit. Very much a 'take me as I am' person. I don't know that I can adequately describe the amazing, multifaceted woman she was. She made people think, challenged perceptions, stayed true to herself, worked towards making this world better. Incredible doesn't begin to describe it. She was thre for so many people, she took the time and she talked and supported and looked after her friends to the nth degree.
She had such passion, such inner fire, she burned so hot and so brightly. She undoubtedly changed so many people's lives for the better, and we will cling to having known her
She will be sorely missed. Rest in peace doesn't seem appropriate in this case. Instead, wherever you are Aveline, may you be raising merry hell and continuing to challenge and make a difference, stop people becoming complacent. Viva Revolution indeed.
