It's funny you should say this because I had a thought the other day that Stiles being a "spark" somehow meant that because he was in a pack, he could draw power from the wolves to work small bits of magic; like the mountain ash.

I'm not even sure how that would work but it'd be an interesting take on humans in a wolf pack.
