Well, I submitted two questions to the Teen Wolf Tumblr account in hopes of having Jeff answer them. Bet he won't answer either one, though, because I'm never that lucky. *sigh*
I submitted the question about the Kanima and Mr. Lahey, and I also submitted one about Kate and her obvious thing with underaged boys (first Derek, then Jackson). The second one might be too scandalous for him to be willing to answer, but the first one isn't. Still, I probably won't get lucky enough for him to choose either one. At least I know that there will be questions in there that have nothing to do with Sterek.
yeah, none of my questions were Sterek, either. My first one was a playful one about when there was going to be a Coach/Greenberg-centric episode because everyone knows that their chemistry is the whole reason anyone watches that show and then I asked a few different, separate questions about the writing process.
And THEN I asked him how someone becomes his assistant and made a whole bunch of nerd references in the process. ;)
I dunno, I couldn't think of anything as far as the actual show goes to ask that I hadn't already sent with the contest winner, so I decided to stick with what I knew/was interested in; writing. Hopefully he answers at least one of those questions.
I never do these things but there's been something bothering me since my last rewatch -- so I actually submitted a question. LOL. I'm desperate to see what Jeff answers.
My first question was about the fact that Mr. Lahey was killed before Matt took control of the Kanima, and whether that was a continuity error or if it was intentional. And if it was intentional, would we ever find out what made Kanima Jackson go after Mr. Lahey.
The second question was about the fact that Kate obviously had a thing about underaged boys (we know what she did to Derek as a 15/16 year old boy, and she also made some blatantly sexual comments about Jackson at the lacrosse game when she thought Jackson was the other beta werewolf she was hunting), and since Gerard made it obvious that he had no qualms in killing his own son and horrifically manipulating his granddaughter, it wasn't much of a stretch to consider that he might have done something pretty heinous to Kate when she was growing up, and I wanted to know whether she was continuing a cycle of abuse that he started with her when she preyed on teenage boys.
OOOOH. I like those. Especially the Argent one -- I hadn't even considered the abuse cycle. I just assumed sociopath for Kate .... but abuse actually is probably more on point.
It's pretty obvious that the Argents are messed up as a family, and I feel like it's interesting that Chris kept his daughter so far away from his father. He didn't keep Allison away from Kate, but he kept her away from Gerard from a very young age. I think that's pretty telling, at least from my point of view. And Kate considered werewolves subhuman, so it wouldn't be a stretch to think that she justified her sexual predation by telling herself that they were monsters who deserved to be traumatized and treated like dirt, and not kids that she was coercing and molesting.
