Wherein I continue to watch Supernatural

First impression of the second episode, “Wendigo” - not quite as creepy as the pilot episode. Still creepy, but not as bad. Interestingly, every time the wendigo was skulking around in the bushes, I kept thinking of raptors (and now I want to watch Jurassic Park again). Awwww, I should've let you know that I didn't think this episode was as creepy either, maybe you could've watched it earlier! Then again, everyone has different criteria, so I could've been wrong :)

Sadly, Supernatural is, in general, not very good or progressive when it comes to its treatment of women (or POC, as far as that goes). It's one of the ongoing problems I've had with the show. Maybe a lot of the fanbase is to blame as well. There has been at least one awesome female character removed because so many of the fans hated them so much :( It's to be expected when you have a show about a brotherly relationship that is very male-centric, but it still makes me sad.

Sam <333 I was such a Sam girl throughout most of the earlier seasons. Dean started pulling ahead later, I think they're about even for me now :)

Yeah, one of the biggest complaints I've seen about Supernatural is the blatant misogyny in both the show and the fandom. I'm not looking forward to running into that. :(

I think it must be Sam's pretty brown eyes. He looks at you and you immediately think "puppy". I swear I just want to hug his head and promise that nothing bad will ever happen to him ever again.
