"american food" in tokyo

I'm here in Tokyo for work, but the second most frequent activity is eating! We've had pizza a couple of times in the office during busy days from the Pizza Hut across the street. While the name is the same, that's about where the similiarties end. Oh, except they have the cheesy puffy crust which I vaguely remember being marketed in the states. So ( Read more... )

two words...Mos Burger. I still crave those things and I havent been to Tokyo in 3 years. Going back in a coupla months. Can't wait!

My Japanese host family would always serve me pizza for breakfast.. I never knew if this is common in Japan or if they though it was typically American and were just trying to make me feel at home (like when they took me to "Restaurant California"). Anyway, yeah, I couldn't get past the corn.

I have a feeling the Japanese McGriddle will be every bit as McShitty as American one. My advice: stick to the hot dog crust pizza!
