I thought that my life would be better by now, but it's not and I don't know where to turn.

Ugh.  I am so annoyed by CJ.  Pretty much every single day.  Why am I still with this guy?  Am I going to look back one day and wonder why I wasted X amount of years on him?  I wonder if this is one of those situations that have been waiting to topple over and once we're graduated and possibly heading in different directions, that it'll be the end ( Read more... )

wow thats a lot of places. ive been to 3 of the places you are going to potentially. uncle sushi is great and is byob i believe. the menu has a wide variety of rolls that are as exceptional as they are creative. okis is decent but overpriced, and the sushi chef taught the head chef at uncle sushi so a lot of the sushi is similar but i think better at uncle sushi. ive been to haruki east once and from what i remember it was pretty good quality.

I only hear good things about Uncle Sushi so I'll have to head there first. My brother used to go to Okis all of the time, but he stopped. He went to Kon on E Greenwich and said that it's pretty good. Might be on the pricey side, but apparently the atmosphere is really something else. Thanks for the advice!

Forgot also

King's Garden
Ichiban
Haruki Cranston
Jackies Galaxy
Wrights Farm

I've been to those and liked them all. I can see with Wrights Farm and Jackies where you either love it or hate it. What did you like at King's Garden? The salad dressing at Haruki is great also, I bought like 4 bottles this week haha

I'd be willing to take on some of those places with you. =)

I don't mind Uncle Sushi, except for the fact that whenever an Asian person walks into an Asian place, we immediately have to play the "What's Your Nationality" game.

I know. I am American, bitch! I feel like it's the unofficial Asian guy's pick up line. And like all pick up lines, just do not work.
