It's official; Autumn begins today.

I was chilly this morning.  CHILLY!!!!!   There are no words to sufficiently express my joy.

I took this picture last fall, right outside my office building.  These trees have not started to change yet this year, but I plan to be ready with camera when they do:

Okay, those are wonderfully gorgeous trees. What do they look like right now? Is the green as pretty as the red?

They're actually pretty nondescript the rest of the year. I sort of forget they're even there until one day they are suddenly that brilliant red. This office park has a lot of really nice hardwoods in it - in the spring the Bradford pear and cherry blossom trees are AMAZING. The problem is, it's in a bad part of town, so even though you might want to go outside and stand around looking at all the lovely foliage, you have to bear in mind that you will likely end up being covered in graffiti, or possibly shot.
