Aw, I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. 36 is sooooo young. I hope she is beating cancer's stupid ass.

HUGS back to you!

that's terrible news.

the treatment sounds pretty drastic - i hope that's because they think her prognosis is good.

my friend lolliejean is going through cancer treatment right now, and she's doing it like a diva. i also know someone IRL who is recovering from breast cancer.

your friend is young and is clearly getting good treatment since it's scheduled so soon. i will keep my fingers crossed and send out whatever voodoo/thoughts/prayers i can.

Thank you!

I hope your friends who are also battling this are doing well. It seems like cancer has really ramped things up lately, and it makes me want to beat stuff with my shoe.

Thank you! I wish there was something I can do, but I hope just being there is enough. She is tough and has a good attitude, and that has to help.

OMG, I can imagine that you would be crushed by this news. I pray to God that she gets through the mastectomy safely and she has a very supportive doctor and team with the radiation and chemo she'll have to go through. I'm sure you being there for her will be a huge help honey. Remember that there is no right thing to say, and that listening is a gift as is just being there sometimes in a compatible silence. They've come a long way over the past 5 to 10 years dealing with cancer in women who are younger ( ... )

Thanks Pam! I'm so glad your sister-in-law is doing well. Very scary stuff, man.

Thank you for your kind words!
