I am going with the gold medal you were awarded for killing a duck?
Ah, extremely close - but no cigar. That's the Canadian one dollar coin - known popularly as the Loonie (cause that's a loon on the coin, not a mere, pedestrian duck).
Funny story - they had a far cooler design to use on the coin. Problem is - the artist mailed it to the Canadian Mint*. It got totally lost. So they had to go with the backup design of the Loon. Only in Canada you say?
We also now have a two dollar coin called...the Toonie. It's all wild laughs and gambols in this country, I tell ya.
Oh and my mystery toy was simply - buzzybee Made in NZ since cough 19.. cough and every kid has one. Funny thing is - it is a mystery as my pictures have now disappeared from my journal. I wonder if it is just me and my work computer or are others seeing nothing, as that would be embarassing
The pictures have been missing since late last night (you know, Canadian time - real time ;) I'd sign into my photobucket.com account and see what's up (perhaps you'll need to re-upload the shots and edit your journal accounts with the new address - a pain but I can't think of what else you could do). Your latest pic of Christchurch is coming in just fine, though.
ahhhhhh...me understando the way of photobucket now. I was a bit dumb and I deleted the pics from photobucket once I had used them - I guess you aint suppose to do that!

What am I saying - I play by my own rules, girlfriend! ;)
I have no idea but, being a fan of British humour, perhaps I'll guess and say an original Eric the Half Bee doll? Accessories sold separately.
Here's a bit of Canadiana Trivia in return.
