Happy New Year!!
Where is the time going?
Ok, so I lurked a couple times on LJ when on vacation, but didn't post - so I'll get to that later. First I'll do a quick recap & then post the link to all the pics, there is no way I'm going through & posting pics, I took way too many, LOL.
Allyssa got her haircut! First big happening.. she got it cut before x-mas, she wanted it SHORT! I about cried, they cut off more than 6". Her long pretty hair was my favorite! But she decided she wanted it short like mine, lol - so I said what the heck, it's her hair. (as I held my breath, it was all chopped off!) I think it looks super cute though, and I can't believe how much older she looks with it. She loves it too - so I guess it was a good thing!
Payton's gone on the potty! Now, this has only happened twice, but she's pulled at her diaper, then walked over to her potty chair & actually WENT in it! Woohoo! We're not holding our breath since it could be another year before she's actually potty trained, but we're loving that she's started to show interest in it - and hoping that means we can work with her & get her potty trained soon!
X-mas: We all totally, totally made out for x-mas. I can't even post everything we got, but I'll post the highlights.
Jason - ND helmet (that he loved!!), clothes, hats, nike shoes, columbia jacket, ND engraved rock for outside, coach wallet (he did like it a lot, yeah!), nd jersey, tons of sports stuff
Me - Coach purse, sweater, vic secrets stuff (3 bra/panty sets, 2 babydolls, and lotion, robe & slippers) all from Jason ;). I also got the matching coach wallet (yeah!), TONS of clothes, shoes, jewelry, stuff for my ipod, new books I wanted, and much more
Me/Jason together: new water softener, our new bed paid for, pots/pans, new crock pot
Allyssa - her new bunk bed (see pics of her room we re-did while she was at her dads), she was SO excited, she loves it so much! A gameboy, SEVEN new gameboy games, tons of clothes, cd's, jewelry, etc, etc... etc.. LOL
Payton - radio flyer wagon, new kitchen set, TONS of clothes (thank god!), and toys galore. I can't mention them all, but she got practically everything she can use for her age, lol (and older, lol)
It was a great x-mas, we were all spoiled and it was nice to have time off with the kids and Jason too!
New Years Eve - Jason & I went to dinner just us, then went for a couple drinks, then we met up with friends & went to a party till about 12:30, then went to a bar, karoked and danced till almost 3 am! We slept till 11:30 the next day! LOL. Picked Payton up at noon and then Allyssa got home from her dads shortly after.
Last night: went to MIL's for a party to watch ND basically ruin their season. They played for shit! I am SO glad we didn't waste the money to go see them lose.. ugh.. Oh well, maybe next year.
