just finished a homestay in the naso-teribe territory - an indigenous group in panama. it was awesome. the people were so nice and welcoming. they spoke their own language but also spoke spanish and lived in stilted houses in the absolute middle of the rainforest without lights, gas, toilets, beds, etc. they cooked all their meals over an open fire
