Hi. Meet my friend Wookie, the idiot.

Aug 19, 2003 04:40

I have this really-super-fun-crazy friend named John Wookie. But we all call him "Wook" or "Wookie"...in fact, I've never heard him called "John" by anybody in the years I've known him ( Read more... )

It makes sense that you'd meet somebody like that at a crazy hot tub party.

He sounds like an interesting fellow. I guess it wouldn't suit him to take up knitting or chess or something, but we can only hope.

Wookie playing chess, would be like....the end of the world or something. The man has lots of guts, and ambition, but the brain capacity attention span or patience for a game of chess, simply wasn't dealt in his deck of cards. =o/

I wouldn't even risk a game of Scrabble on the boy...I think "Go Fish" might even be pushing it.

ugh...I hadn't thought about it until you and Lance brought it up. =o/

Do you happen to remember anything about it in the news a couple weeks ago? I never saw it in the papers, and since I don't watch TV, I didn't know if it even made SF news or not....just curious.

oh GOD no. *shakes head* Don't worry me like that!!!!!

Hopefully Wook will be well enough by the time you get here, and you can meet the man behind the mishap...

I can understand him, doesn't mean I would go through that. I had (key word had) an Uncle who was like that (key word was). God bless his soul!

I dunno... Knitting and quilting can be dangerous for an amateur (especially impulsive ones). Why don't you just restrict him to nice football games or something. lol

I'm thinking now is my chance to get him back for the abuse (teasing) he always puts me through.

I'm thinking the Lawrence Welk show marathon, with a Julia Childs cooking show every now and then. >=o) *snicker*

Crazy.

I have a friend who got one of those paragliders after seeing people on the beach do it. He took an instructional course, and then managed to chop off the tips of his fingers on the propeller.
