Well I thought I'd update. I haven't done any writing in quiet some while. My therapist would be disapointed.

I visited so many of those places you listed as a kid, camping with my family. I have some great memories, to include the dunes and pasties in Cadillac. I know I enjoyed it then but I long for the day that I can go back and truly enjoy it as an adult. There's somthing to be said about how your mind takes things in as a child, but I know there is much more I would find now.
I'm glad to hear that things are going well. Now that I, like, never see you. I guess it would help if I worked more than 8 hours a week ;D

so you were an "up north kid" as well? wasn't it great? i think it gives such a roundness to their beings that many lack.
one of the kids we took camping with us had never even BEEN camping... in his life!! i felt so bad for him! i hope we gave him a good first time experience.
