That is...sick and creepy, and all the more so because I can actually see it happening in the books.

Oh, that's PERFECT. Good for Claire for being utterly creeped out by the guy who'd been grooming her since she was two, and who wouldn't bother to have become her friend if it hadn't meant that he'd get to fuck her at some point. And good for her for exploding in a realistic way at Quil, who reacted just like every Twilight protagonist--as if Person X was his property and he was entitled to own her, body, mind and soul. He's the quintessence of the Fake Nice Guy--the one who seems to be nice but is really just being nice because he thinks it will get him into someone's pants a lot quicker.

The fact that Claire turned out to be a lesbian was just icing on the cake.
