I'd recommend "transference": pretend it's all happening to somebody else. ;-) (It's somebody else's mortgage, and you'll have it paid off "real soon now", and then it will be nobody's mortgage, and you won't have to worry about it....)
FWIW, real estate really is a very good investment (given the term of your mortgage, and as compared with paying rent), so don't be scared -- you've made a good and wise choice.
But, yeah, those phone calls can really feel like boulders bouncing by!
