I feel like I'm witnessing something truly huge in this predential campaign. Like, history is being made and I get to watch it happen, even be a part of it.

Like, thirty, fifty years from now, kids are going to be learning about this in grade school, like we learned about WW2 and JFK and Lincoln.

We're always watching history. How it will be written down, of course, is another matter. You're just excited because we might be getting into a good bit of a history instead of the stuff that makes us cringe. ;)

What makes you say so?

That is, I could easily believe that our nation is on the brink of an economic collapse unparalleled since the Great Depression (or, at least, we're on the brink of another period like the 70's), but I am really skeptical that the presidential campaign will have anything (significant) to do with what happens next (i.e., that it will take us over the brink or back from it).
