We got him! Well, actually we put a hold on him. We can't pick him up until Wed. of next week at the earliest. I'm hoping we can wait until next Sunday (the day after the wedding). We will then take him back there and they will watch him for us while we are gone. We are so excited that everything worked out! We love him so much. I'm going to ( Read more... )

Scruffy D! I love that name. :D [Is the Dusapin some combination of Dustin/Lisa and...?] He's too cute for words. Glad he's found a new home with you kids. Congrats!

Dusapin is actually his last name! Yes, the weird last name tradition is continued. My mom went from Springer to Hopper. I'm going from Hopper to Dusapin.
Thanks, we love him to pieces. Now we can't wait to get home from our honeymoon to spend time with him! I hope the cat likes him :)

Ohhh, hah! I read into that too much and thought you were being creative. Well that makes sense then. We've always given pets our last names, too. :D

Cats have attitude and can be quite territorial, so it will be an adventure, I'm sure. ;) Good luck.

Thanks :) He will be very spoiled. We went out and bought a book tonight on how to potty train dogs. *ugh* Different when you are in an apartment 3 floors up! We'll see how it goes.
