Well, we still have Lilo. I couldn't take her back to the pet store, it broke my heart. The cat is still trying to kill her, so now we are looking for a good family for her to go to. We thought we had found one, but it turns out that isn't going to work out. Until then, she will just stay with us ( Read more... )

I hope to move back to Florida. It is amazing what 200k will buy you down there. Job market is not hopping though.

It is incredible. I have spent time in Atlanta and knew that it was cheaper there, but I haven't spent a lot of time in FL. I know the weather would take some getting used to, as would the bugs, but we really did like it down there. I feel like we could actually possibly get ahead if we move, where we probably never will if we stay here!

The cost of living is quite high in CA so maybe it would balance out.

What kind of dog is it? How old? All that stuff. I might know somebody that wants a puppy. :)

She's adorable. She is a 9 1/2 week old Westie/Schnauzer mix. She is all white. She doesn't bark, is great with kids, cats and other dogs, and overall is just a really good little girl. She is sleeping about 7 hours straight now at night which is good. She is also pretty much already crate trained, and is learning how to use potty pads.
Here is a picture of her:

Let me know if you have any more questions!
We definitely want her to go to a good home, preferably to a house, not an apartment. She loves to run around in the grass.
And to somewhere that she wouldn't be alone for 8 hours a day.

Ok, I'll pass on the information and let you know if they are interested or not. They would be perfect for her, and her for them, but it just depends on whether they really do want another dog right now. They had 2 westies and both have recently passed on and I know they wanted another puppy, but not sure if they are ready yet or not. I'll let you know. Thanks. :)
