Amen to that. I am SO happy for everyone, truly, but I always have that little tiny pang of selfish "I want that for me now!" feeling.

I knew you'd be the one to support the plan! Yes, we really want to stay close to Edmonds so we can be close to my parents who I have a feeling will be spending a lot of time with our children. Of course we can't even afford a home IN Edmonds, so near Edmonds will be good!
I'm excited to hear about your plans also, it's all very interesting. I wish you nothing but the best of luck. I know how much you want another baby, and I'm sure that it will happen for you two!

There is never a perfect time to have kids. Don't wait until y ou have the perfect house...job...money arrangement. Because then it may never happen. I think many of our parents had babies in unperfect circumstances but it all works out.

Yes, that is very true. That is why I say that regardless of whether or not we are moved by next Summer, we are going to start trying. It's also a matter of health for me, I'm not the healthiest person in the world and we are sorting out some issues with that, but other than that, I definitely agree with you, there never is a perfect time!

I admit to being somewhat hesitant when it came to sharing my news, because there are at least three women on my friends list who are trying to have babies right now. So a part of me worried about how it might affect them. But then I reminded myself that, were I in the same position, I may feel slight jealousy and longing, but would certainly still be happy for them. So I'd hoped the same would be true for them. (Joe says I worry too much about these things. Who knows, maybe he's right to some degree ( ... )

Oh my goodness lady, don't EVER feel like you need to keep something back to protect the feelings of others. That is absoultely fantastic news! I was so excited, I was yelling at Dustin from 3 rooms away "Carrie is Pregnant again!" Then we both agreed that there is no way you will have an ugly baby, you and Joe just have good genes. I hope we will all be that lucky!

And I agree with Claire and you as well about there is never a "right" time. Like I said above, there are also some health issues with me that need to be worked out, so once those are all good we will most likely start trying regardless!
But seriously lady, I am so happy for you. You two are going to have the best family. I can't wait to finally meet Miss MJ and am excited to hear your journey with the new baby!

Thanks, Lisa. I appreciate the sincere words. You're a good egg.

I can definitely understand then (re: health issues) wanting to make sure you're in a better place. I hope that happens for you, and everything goes well/according to plan (as much as it can).

Nurit mentioned an email from you about getting together. I definitely think we should plan that, soon. If not this month, since I know how crazed December can be, maybe early next?
