DONT read if you don't want to be spoiled
Wow what a powerful episode,I absolutely loved it.
Firstly Jensen did an excellent job , really OMG what an actor!!, he must have worked his little socks off playing dual roles, bless him.and what an angle to take , the Croatoan virus, of course that would be the easy way to go , i couldn't believe it seemed so obvious once we knew.Zackariah is as devious as ever of course, i hate him so much, but of course we're supposed to .lol.
It was great seeing that future Chuck hadn't changed at all, but not so great seeing that future Cas had, although he was quite funny, with his little harem going, and being stoned n all, pity about the human part though
and then towards the end you think the future is certain to go one way only because once again we meet Lucifer in Sams meat suit and we literally see the future happening, and god damn it if i didn't for ten seconds have sympathy for him myself when he was telling his whole fall from grace story but then that's probably because he was in Sam , so there we are thinking that in 20014 Lucifer is going to break Deans neck and have won and there is no way dean can change it, that's really how Lucifer made it sound , that no matter what he does, what route he takes there is nothing that will alter the future and for about 30 seconds we're left thinking crap OK so whats the point of going on?
And then Zachariah brings him back, and still for a minute it all looks pretty bleak and for a second you think will Dean crumble and say yes to Michael so that he can somehow change things but YAY before anything else can happen Cas comes to the rescue and drags him out of there and i was so relieved to see Cas being Cas again.
And then Dean did what we've all been waiting for , right?
He called Sam and the boys are back together and i did a happy dance at my PC , as Deans says" they can keep each other Human they really are stronger together, by the end of the episode i really felt like those boys could go up against anything and come out victorious.
Now i have a confession to make, as a Sam girl I'm usually a little disappointed by Dean centric episodes so i wasn't holding out high hopes for this one,but I'll be the first to hold my hands up and say i was so pleasantly surprised, Jensen was magnificent and held the whole episode beautifully and there was just enough Sam to keep me happy, all in all I'm loving each episode a little more than the last and if it keeps going like this OMG what will the next 18 episodes bring and will they build to an almost electric climax , Me , i can't wait to go along for the whole ride.Roll on next week
P.s , go over to Youtube and watch clips of the movie "scary movie" to see a familiar face playing the police chief, it gave me quite a giggle when i recognized who it was.
