Howsomever, there is a metric (butt) ton of stuff for y'all here. Mostly books, although the cast iron frying pan is also in the pile. We need to schedule a meet-up.
Scheduling is a little more complex as I am currently employed (and due to the vagaries of public transit - you surely understand) most of Jon's and my conjoined travel probably is going to be weekendish.
OTOH, if either of you has to travel to the DC area and needs an overnight space, I can offer one. There _will_ be a cat and a fairly hard sleeping space. But it is really accessible by public transit. Welcome, indeed.

Talking to Jon about maybe this weekend, because otherwise we won't be free until October. (Family visiting, book signings for a new book release, etc. September got very popular all of a sudden.) However we very very very much want to see you-all, so I'm sure we'll work something out for a good visit.
I do, much, understand the vagaries of public transit. *glares meaningfully at Seattle bus system*
Thank you for the invite! I'm not likely to be heading DC-ward any time soon, but himself may be, depending on book signings and so forth.
