Her family, all of Southern California, pregnant women, women in America, people with hearts, prosecutors, defense attorneys, the jurors who analyzed autopsy photos of Laci's torso and bones, who saw Connors premature body on an autopsy table. Millions of people. Me. It's heartbreaking. Why do people have to turn it into an issue on how the media chooses its stories?! Who cares! This is equally sad, not more important than others.
When there are men dying everyday in Iraq that go unreported, and their families have no clue because there was some "BREAKING DEVELOPMENT" in this case, which amounted to some juror being thrown off or whatever....that's when I care about what the media does or does not show. The media is a piper, and just like in the OJ case and every other "big money" story like it, they played the public like a fiddle, taking us away from what's actually going to impact this world.
