Ugh, I hope my laptop's not dying. I'm using one of the old Eos laptops at the moment, because my normal one's being a jerk. It has frozen up completely (something it never used to do) three times today. I mean, it's always had issues shutting down or going into hibernation mode (i.e., it just reboots instead), but this is a new issue

You're local enough that you should poke featheredfrog about it.

He's got a bunch of laptops and can probably replace the fan for you if that's the issue.

(BTW, That's my dad. He likes tinkering with computers.)

I can replace the fan myself, I've done it before, just a matter of getting a new fan ($8 from Dell's website). I'm just kind of annoyed that the fan broke AGAIN.
