I accidentally locked the door behind me when I went to do laundry - the front door, which goes to both apartments - and didn't have a key with me. I woke up at 4 this morning with a sore throat and needing to pee. Now, I've had a mild sore throat threatening since last Sunday, and have been beating it back with copious amounts of EmergenC, but apparently this morning it has won the battle. A not-so-great way to start a day:
Going to get hot water in order to make oatmeal, stirring it in and letting it sit, and reaching for the cup of cold water you'd been sipping only to realize you'd gotten the two cups switched.

The Godiva clerk got my email address out of me. I just got a "special offer" email from them that is good through 2/30/09.
That's right, February 30th. Since that date will never arrive, I could make a case for it being good forever, I think... ; ) -

So did I mention how I'm sick? 'Cause I am. I hate it too. I'm more phlegmy now, and I wasn't able to sleep in today because my nose started running and I had to cough.
