I hope I can get to that point in my novel someday. It just seems so hopeless right now.

Wonderful news about Joe. Connecting with friends can only be good for him. :-D

Connecting is such a wonderful step.

And in your novel, one step at a time will lead you somewhere--to the end of the journey and a finished book, right?

Yeah, was good to see my son laughing.

I hope it will. I've been beating my head over this novel for a couple of years. This is the first time, I've made progress, so I am happy.

Well, here's what I learned from writing my dissertation. When I started, it seemed like an insurmountable task. But by doing it one small step at a time, eventually I got to the end of the road. Then I turned around and looked back at where I'd traveled and was surprised at how far I'd come.

Yeah. The story is too big for me to see all the way through, but I can write what each character is doing and then what they are doing next. It's making it fun again, instead of torture.

All good news! [Tortures Lisa so she doesn't miss that aspect!]
