I think it would mean a million (or more) to any RPG enthusiast to have Nobuo Uematsu compose your wedding song and Yoshitaka Amano design your engagement ring. Apparently James Mielke of 1UP was lucky enough to have both when proposing to his girlfriend, which I thought was very cute and original.

Haha I know! Perosnally I would die to get anything composed in a private manner from Sakimoto Hitoshi, but hey that's prob'ly impossible knowing where I work and shall continue to work... for a long time. /sadface

I know what you mean, though if you read the article, you'll see both the guy and the lady are Japanese fluent and the lady at least knows how much value her proposal gifts are actually worth ;) Even if he didn't write them out, I wouldn't have doubted his girlfriend's reaction otherwise since (1) it's his gf/fiancee for God's sake, of course he knows what she'd like and (2) you would probably know at least Final Fantasy if your bf/finance is working in the game industry and would prob'ly talk about them excitedly to you at a daily basis ;)

Seriously, I get pretty bummed whenever I couldn't see certain musicians/voice actors at a convention near my area due to work, but this is on a totally different level indeed xD
