I can't imagine how differently our boys would have done in the PS system from the beginning. My boys were late in the reading and writing as well. I'm really glad we have had the opportunities to let them explore at their own speed. Jesse has done amazing things and I'm sure he'll continue to do so. You've done an amazing job:)

That is really impressive. How old is he now? Will he be starting college early? Is he in public school now? Both he and Dingo are amazing to me. All three of you have worked really hard over the years and I am incredibly proud of all of you!

He is 15. He'll be starting college as soon as he's 16 this summer. I gave him the option of public high school but he wanted no part of it.

Dingo's friend, who is a head shorter and tiny, probably half his weight, was trying to talk Dingo into public school the other day, and Dingo, looking aghast said "Aren't there BULLIES there!?" and his friend looked him up and down and said, "Well yeah, but nothing YOU can't handle."
