Good news: they didn't eliminate the librarian job. He'll have to be creative finding book $$$. PTA, book fair, grants, free books his wife wrote??? Congratulations John!

so sorry. that is the sad state of school libraries today. .... good luck to J! it can be the best job in the world, but the hardest one (because of all the obstacles in the path!) too

But he has a job and the library will be open. From what I hear from a lot of places, that's a good thing. Congrats to John.

Thanks! Yep- he is thankful for sure. I now know of two more school libraries that "closed."
