Amazon Now Sells More E-books Than Hardcovers

Wow. I thought the day was coming...

Who knew it already passed?

From article: "Over the past month, for every 100 hardcover books Amazon.com has sold, it has sold 180 Kindle books.”

I have to say I am surprised. I'm not sure what to think about all this. It's still strange to me. But as long as people keep reading that's a good thing!

Your thoughts reflect my feelings as well. I hope authors are fighting for fair rights to ebooks.

No...but I'd like to know how many paperbacks vs. e-books are sold. I don't usually buy hardcovers anyway. Now that I have a Kindle, I buy tons of books! TONS! It's easier for me to get books anytime I want.

So, I'm going broke.

This is good for authors! ;-)

As long as the authors are being fairly compensated. I ould be interested in pb numbers as well. Do you love your Kindle? I'm sure a Kindle or Nook is in my future...

Good point. I just read that a more detailed report will be out on Thursday. I bet they'll hold that type of info close to them. We may never know.
