Because BOTH of my computers were hijacked, (BOO, HISS to mean, rotten, EVIL people) I missed all sorts of  fantastic news this week.  I'm just now finding out that my writing bud, Linda Bozzo, had her book nominated for an SCBWI Crystal Kite Award.  Congrats, Linda!

Thank you Lisa! I think if all of us writers work together to help each other achieve our goals, the writing world is a better place. So, if anyone has any questions about writing for the school and library market, feel free to contact me. I love sharing what I've learned about writing nonfiction.

And this week I'm sharing some of the fun, behind-the-scenes research and some personal photos on each of the books in this series over at Blogger. I'm doing a book signing for the series this Sunday and I thought it would give everyone a chance to meet the dog heroes and their handlers that are featured in the books.

But know if you ask me to share my chocolate with you, that's a whole different story!
