Wow... that is kind of sudden. I guess the whole thing with Andrew visiting so I can have you give him my turtle is a no-go now, huh? Or would you still like to have my turlte anyway? I don't know if you are moving to a house, or an apartment where space for turtle tanks is limited.

Anyways, have a safe journey down there! Hopefully you guys like it enough to stay, cause yeah.. it does seem like too much work to move everything back up here again if it doesn't.

*look above* Not sure about the move right now.

However if we are staying here I could maybe take your turtle still. Let me figure out what's going on with the move first, then I can let ya know and I can come over some time to talk with you about it.... *shrugs*

Ah... It sounded pretty certain in your previous post before you updated it.

Maybe the easiest thing to do is just take what you need, and put the rest of your stuff in storage, if not just leave it behind in your house. And if you guys can't find any good jobs or suitable living places, then you could come back up and resume life in your old house. That way you're not wasting all that effort to take everything down and back if it doesn't work. Just a thought. *shrug*

Let me know what's up with the turtle situation. I might just end up doing somehting else then.

It's been sort of back and fourth. Call it last-minute jitters, and this IS a big decision. Now it's looking like we will be moving after all, but I don't want to set anything in stone. And mind you this is more THEIR indecision, not my own. I had put in my two weeks to my job after all.

Yes, we decided not to sell the house for that very reason. We are gonna try it out for year and just see, maybe they'll lease this house out to someone...*shrugs* As for me, I dunno yet if I'll stay in Houston permnantly either. Just depends on the job market and if I decide I like it there or not. But I can already tell the summers will suck there!

Uhh, want me to come over and just see the turtle and tank and discuss it with you? The new house will definately be bigger than this one, minus the basement *frowns* I'll be here still this coming weekend.

Oh, Lisaaaaa, *hugs* I can so relate to what you're going through, as you know it happened to me in 2000 when I lost the home I knew for almost 16. I was six years old when we first moved into the Sheridan house in September, 1984, so I grew very attached to it. Small, but cozy, it WAS home no matter what. And now, moving to a new location is quite scary, I fully sympathize with you. :( If this does become permanent, I'll need to get a new # from you, seeing as the area code will change.
