When I'm fired up on social and political issues I use my Blogspot. For personal stuff, fandom and general creative show-and-tell I use lj. I have a MySpace I rarely visit and have no idea who half the people on there are who asked to be my friend. My "top eight" are my kids and closest friend. I think. I'll have to check. I do know people who blog on MySpace regularly. I don't. I don't have FaceBook and even though I have a Twitter account I think it's mostly pointless. I mean, life is too short to be Twittering about your longing for a bagel and latte, or worse yet, reading about someone else's.
Yeah I don't know alot of the people I friend on Myspace either. I only log in once and a while to update pics on my profile, and to check up on the people who I do know. I feel that LJ is more interactive and people actually look at your blog.
I don't know much about Twitter, but from the sounds of it, it's like that one site where people just post their likes and make friends out of it. Seems pointless to me.

Facebook and MySpace for bands and their fans.
LiveJournal for personal blogging and drama. I've had blogs on all the platforms over the years but always come back to LiveJournal.
