Every year Seattle has a comic book convention in the Spring. Last year I went for the first time with my fellow TMNT fan-friend, Andrew Modeen. Anyway the con was this past weekend and my bf, Ben, and I went just yesterday. Bah! Had I known you were going I would've had you stop by the Wayfarer's Moon booth (Went to school with the colorist & haven't seen her in a while). Of course, had I known it was this weekend I would've gone too. o_O

Looks like it was lots of fun though! (love the Chewy costume!)

I'm sorry, I guess I should have posted I was gonna be going huh? I'm wondering now though how many TMNT fans live out in WA, or in general in the Pacific Northwest. Cuz I'd love to have a meetup oneday if there are enough of us. Maybe next year at the Emerald City Con, that'd be cool!

We used to do the same when I lived out in the Midwest. Sometimes a group of us would go and meetup at the Motor City Comic Convention in Detroit, MI. I've met Donatello Ivey several times at it. I also had a con meetup with other West-coast TMNT fan-friends at the San Diego comic con.

Yeah, I did the San Diego thing back in 02 and haven't been able to afford it since ;)

Let's see, as for the Pac NW, I know there's you and Andrew up in the Seattle area. Myself and Cherubae are down here in what's considered to be the Portland Metro area (Leahnardo and Kameko are on occasion here, too, when visiting their parents. One married a military man and the other joined the military, so they are at current not living here).

There's also DancingFae in this area, too. Ziptango is in Idaho (it's *technically* part of the PAC NW), I believe Echartea is still in Salem, OR.

Sadly, I had to look a couple of those up--it seems most TMNT fans that are publicly so online are all pretty much in the midwest, NY, and California o_O

I know some friends of mine personally that are TMNT fans, but they aren't part of any of the TMNT networks online.

Yeah same here. I went back in 2001 and also haven't been able to afford it since. I am hoping to return either next year or the year after.

Didn't know that Cherubae was in this region. Yeah I heard Fae was in WA, I think out by the coast. Ziptango is in the same state my bf's from, ;)

Yeah it doesn't suprize me that a lot of TMNT fans are out in my old neck of the woods; the Midwest.

There definitely quite a few in CA too. Like Brinatello and Dawn Coll.
