- Winter is seriously depressing me. We’ve gotten more than six feet in just the past month, and it looks like Snowpiercer outside my window. (Regrettably, I don’t even get Chris Evans as a consolation prize).

- As I’ve posted elsewhere, snow canceled my trip to Boskone. Poop.

I'll be interested to hear how you like Daughter of Smoke and Bone! I adore Brimstone and most of the imagery, but still feel neutral about many parts of it. I can't entirely remember which parts are the first book versus the sequels, though, which veer in somewhat different directions.

I shall be sure to write a review. So far, Brimstone impresses me -- terrible dad advice from a terrible dad!
