Readercon 26 was this past weekend. It was a decidedly mixed bag for me.

Most importantly, I put Doritos on a very drunk Kevin’s head.

What? Why don't I remember this?

I find it interesting how drunk people read me as -- I'd had a couple glasses of wine with dinner and a couple Manhattans, and they were neither short pours nor weak Manhattans, but I also wonder if it was how I was acting. I present very differently than I usually do when I'm cross-dressing, and the con was kind of a LARP-like space for me to play with putting on a different character.

Then again if I can't remember you putting Doritos on my head maybe I was more drunk than I thought. :-)

And I succeeded, with an inscription: “There’s Wittgenstein in here!” Indeed; and even Lovecraft.

Is true. There is Lovecraft. Who would no doubt be horrified by the poem, which I think I can live with. I am very glad you are enjoying the collection.

Please tell Chris Gerwel his Roman automaton novel sounds awesome and I would probably buy it. I hope your own novel attracts agents soon.

It was good to see you for thirty seconds!
