Easy to please

When I hear people complaining about 5G -- in particular about not having fun, or not having enough to do -- I find myself asking:

Do I just have really low expectations because this is the first boffer game I've played?

So... from everything I can tell the experience the SF side has gotten has been drastically different from what the WB side has gotten. I don't think that we've had a 3+ hour downtime where no NPCs were around at *any* time during our events, and I'm including in the middle of the night. That did happen to them. Am not sure if it's prep cycles (I see that they've switched it up for next year, where the WB players will get more time to have their events prepped for), or some other factor, but the fact is that SF just *is* (or has been) more busy ( ... )

I think enjoyment of a game varies wildly from player to player, and it's based on a complex set of factors, the most important being: "What makes a game enjoyable for you?" and "Is this game, and the particular experience you are having with it, fulfilling the criteria for it to be enjoyable for you personally?" Certainly, team and origin and plot and a million other factors are part of this discussion, but I think it really depends on the person for how much each of those factors affects them and their experience ( ... )
