I had reservations about a bunch of choices in the last episode, but really liked it overall and am delighted that Eddie Marsan fandom is in fact now a mainstream thing.

Ahhh, that was an enjoyable read! I admit, I didn't catch on to a lot of the qualms you had, as I read the book so long ago that I have forgotten lots of it. There were parts where I was like, "they definitely made that up for the series," and then went back and found it a faithful, nearly line-for-line adaptation.

But in retrospect, I can definitely see how the final episode, and Stephen's conclusion in particular, felt rushed.

Norrell's wig! I have Stuff to say about that. Mainly I was impressed by how brilliantly the costumers used wigs as storytelling devices.
