You have the strategy that I use in alot of my fics too! Okay before I compare myself to the coolness that is this ficlet, let me elaborate. I was little worried in the beginning cause I thought it was gonna turn out to be one of the Syd-Vaughn-"I looooooove you" fics. (You know what I'm talking about) But tis a good fic and I actually think your Lauren is well done. =)

thanks, i made it a point not to distinguish who the female character was just to confuse the reader and make it even more suprising when you realize it's lauren. i'm glad you enjoyed it, and i'm glad you appreciate my strategy! :)

Interesting. Fits very well in that timeframe, and the characters are well done, and keep very much in tune with the behavior and language of the characters on the show. And good job with the ambiguous female in the beginning, I assumed it was Sydney.
