To adopt or not to adopt.

Called to get information on adopting today.  Will be going to an informational meeting on February 9th.  Then, apparently, there is a 12 week course.  I wish I could get over the feeling that this is giving up on the idea of ever having my own child.  But I guess it might be time to do just that

Could you try the sperm bank thing? At least then you'd have given that route a shot. If not, then you could still adopt. Best of luck to you in whatever you choose. Parenthood is pretty crazy good adventure. *hugs*

I could try a sperm bank - except I'm poor and can't afford it. It's either the old fashion having sex kind of getting pregnant or try for adoption. What ever happened to the good old days when I was afraid of getting pregnant when I had sex. Now I can't find anyone to have sex with to get pregnant.
