It wasn't though. I didn't have any strong feelings. There was nothing I really wanted. In fact, I had to be prodded into doing it at all

In American elections there's the idea of a "write-in". You can actually nominate Superman, or Mickey Mouse for president! ;-)

I actually did that once. I can't remember which election it was. It must have been the early 90's though, because I remember that I was still living in Oakland, CA. The choices for some position were just so bad that I wrote in Mickey Mouse rather than choose the lesser of the evils.
