You kids will ADORE this band. You seriously need to check them out. Ohmygosh. They are AMAZING. Dr. Hourai is their name. Their new, on tour, and my guitar teacher's friends band. They seriously are great. Really. Wow. They remind me of AvengedSevenfold/Thursday/CoheedAndCambria.

I'm not a fan of the Thursday, but I love the Coheed and the A7X. I'll give them a listen. :)

They've been around for a little bit. My friend Bethany turned me on to them last fall, and I loved their sound. It's all power-pop but with an attitude. They had their first album come out on Epitaph this summer and it's AMAZING. And their energy live is just...whoa. The songs on their site don't really do it justice.

I haven't D-Led the Doc yet. I will, and I'll let you know what I think.

It's usually not my kind of sound, but I like it for some undefined reason. Probably because they can sing about daily problems without sounding like Yellowcard, or something. I really dont like Yellowcard. I'll definately keep up with them.
